Ryan Reynolds congratulates The Avengers team by posting his hilarious rejection letter on social media
In a relocation befitting of his character, actor Ryan Reynolds praised The Avengers with a funny tweet of his mock rejection letter from the group.
Deadpool, although part of the Marvel universe, was not included in the brand-new film The Avengers: Infinity War since the rights to his character are with Fox.

Congrats #Avengers." The picture he published of his rejection letter was accompanied by a bottle of 'pills' (which, to be sincere, seems like a bottle of TUMS).

Deadpool's character is known for breaking the fourth wall in his motion picture and, similar to that, Reynolds blurred the divide between Fox and Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe. Deadpool can't appear in MCU because Fox owns the rights to his character. Talks of Disney purchasing a large part of Fox are underway. It appears Reynolds' letter is a nod to that, or a funny explanation regarding why he wasn't in the brand-new Avengers movie. We can keep our fingers crossed that we'll see Deadpool in a main MCU motion picture in the future, though.
